I think he would lose to all of them. His best chance might actually be Monzon.

I agree that he'd probably lose to all three.
And I think he gets plenty of credit, for what it's worth. I mean, I see threads like this all the time talking about him like a murderer who could've beaten several ATG's. I'm just not seeing it, at least not to that extent.

McCallum gets better as we see his career in the rear view mirror......I think it's sentimentality. Not that he wasn't good, but it's always that "also ran" fighter that did not get a full option of opportunities that we love to suspect would have changed history "if only".

I think he could beat the middle version of Leonard, and the fading version of Hagler who met Leonard. Against peak versions of Hagler and Monzon it would have been very close over 15 rounds.

He was clearly not quite at the level of the these guys. Not to say that on a given night he could not score an upset, but he would lose most of the time.
