Hall-Malinga RBR

Anyone watching this? McCloskey-Dave Ryan has just finished. McCloskey didn't look great and couldn't slip the jab, but he did drop McCloskey in the 4th/5th

Ryan gets it 77-75, thought McCloskey won myself, but it was close and can't really argue, but that does have Ryan winning 6 of 8 rounds with the knockdown, which is a bit much.

Frankie Gavin due in the ring next I think.

Can't say I pity McCloskey who seemed unwilling to move up a gear

Stevie Bell giving him a right going over here and McCloskey won't speak to Bunce for the interview.

Frankie Gavin up next, so I think once that's done it will be Hall, depending on the length of the fight I'd expect ring walks around quarter to 11.

Shame he's not proving that against someone a bit better than Pryce, no offense to Bradley but Gavin should be fighting at a much, much higher level by now

In the second at the minute. It's a cautious affair. Both looking to counter. Frankie's geting the better of it though.

Totally agree. It's frustating.

Well done to Dave Ryan he kept his shape and scored plenty with his solid jab. Mckloskey turned in an uninspired performance.

Who's that in the corner with Pryce? Liked the advice he was giving in the corner there.

You are right, but the Vassell fight was a step in the right direction. I would like to see Bundu next and then get involved at world level.

Jamie Arthur, won't do much good though, Frankie's several levels above Pryce.

I thought I recognised the face! He seemed pretty shrewd in the corner. I agree though, he's getting picked apart.

I feel compelled to give Pryce some credit. He is far better than some of these "commonwealth" opponents.

And he shall forever have a soft spot in my cold, concrete heart - after stopping Anthony Small and taking his '0'.

Certainly not in the UK. Hopefully moved up to the next level in his next fight, obviously this is a fight made at very late notice.

Vassell was a step up but it's not been built on which is a shame.

Whilst this is a fight made on late notice lets not pretend the original opponent was much/if any better

I actually think this is better than the original opponent, not that that's saying much.

I think as Barry was saying in the commentary, I think Frankie's downfall might be the psychological aspect of his game. He seems to have confidence in his ability even though he's super skillful. Strange one.

It's supposed to be a trial run to test the jaw before something decent in the new year. Let's hope his backers deliver.
