Kiko stopped Mathebula in the 9th with a body shot.
Who'd you like to see him in with next?

The WBA would class him as the "WBA UNIFIED" championchad wrote:I'd like to see him face Frampton in a rematch.
If he faced Quigg, and Quigg won unifying the WBA and IBF titles, would that mean Quigg becomes the WBA Super Champ?
Thanks for the infoiamasadlittleboy wrote:The WBA would class him as the "WBA UNIFIED" championchad wrote:I'd like to see him face Frampton in a rematch.

Easier option? I am on the side of Quigg will beat frampton!!The_Don1 wrote:I'd like to see him with Frampton, but he'll choose Quigg as it's the easier option and adds another title to his collection
Quigg would comfortably sell over two thousand for this bout. I don't know where people get the idea he doesn't sell from. He may not be as popular as Frsmpton, but is a very respectable seller.gazzman87 wrote:At this point in his career Kiko want's the big money fights.Quigg can't fill two thousand seats in his own back yard. Still fighting on undercards (as "world champ") Frampton vs Parodi (some French guy know one knows) was a Nine thousand sell-out. And Frank has the money to make it happen.
He will be headlining a mostly empty MEN unless the undercard is brilliant. Frampton's limited by capacity, he could have a lot more in than 9,000 if there was a venue big enough.jackukmma wrote:People think quigg doesn't sell will be in for a shock in April. He's headlining the MEN and will shift tickets. Frampton sells 9k let's not overstate it
I do see the potential for another Bernard Dunne if Martinez fights Quigg, he'll put it on him from the first bell and Quigg isn't always the quickest of starters and has been dropped by far lesser punchers than Kiko. That Dunne KO brought a huge payday for Martinez and his team, when they got to Dublin they pooled all the money they had together and stuck 10,000 euros on the first round knockout at 66/1.columbo wrote:I honestly think that Martinez would cause Quigg nightmares! Aside from the fact that im not sure that Quigg can fight on the backfoot aswell as Frampton, im pretty positive that he cant take a shot aswell and he'd have to be able to do that against Martinez unless he managed to blast him out quickly. I'd love to see the odds on that fight if it happened, as if the odds were good, id take a punt on Martinez.
If you don't mind me asking where did you hear this ?expe wrote:I do see the potential for another Bernard Dunne if Martinez fights Quigg, he'll put it on him from the first bell and Quigg isn't always the quickest of starters and has been dropped by far lesser punchers than Kiko. against an opponent who comes to him, quigg uses subtle angles and picks his shots beautifully, sinking in body shots - as seen in the rematch with rendall munroe.expe wrote:I do see the potential for another Bernard Dunne if Martinez fights Quigg, he'll put it on him from the first bell and Quigg isn't always the quickest of starters and has been dropped by far lesser punchers than Kiko. He didnt raise his game at all. He was just in with a lesser fighter in Romero who didnt have the dig to keep Martinez off of him.Autobarn wrote:against an opponent who comes to him, quigg uses subtle angles and picks his shots beautifully, sinking in body shots - as seen in the rematch with rendall munroe.expe wrote:I do see the potential for another Bernard Dunne if Martinez fights Quigg, he'll put it on him from the first bell and Quigg isn't always the quickest of starters and has been dropped by far lesser punchers than Kiko. ppl like to mention that Frampton beat Martinez - before Martinez raised his game and won the IBF title. also, quigg destroyed munroe who twice outworked Martinez.
