... According to the sun. Apparent Sauerland didn't want Adam as his coach and manager. Where does he go now?

Clearly not. Wasn't much said in The Sun...Aden wrote:"Sauerland didn't want Adam as his coach and manager."
Surely there's absolutely no way that that's the full extent of that decision?
What's the low-down then, Spud, if you know?Spud wrote:WRONG!!Parson Cross wrote:Conflict of interest when Haye makes his comeback.
Price for all his flaws would destroy Browne IMO.HomicideHenry wrote:Price would be better suited heading into Poland or Germany and join a training camp with Spizka (who kayoed Mollo twice) or with the Klitschko's and pick up on some pointers. I happen to think with him, he reminds me of Bill Squires of the early 20th century, who lost miserably and then became the high profile sparring partner of then heavyweight champion Tommy Burns. I think he made a wise decision in dropping the Commonwealth belts considering Browne was on his way, but Price needs to face someone like Richard Towers--- someone of the same ilk and style as himself.
Browne can take a punch. Price can't. I dont think boxing is quite that simple, you should know that. Also, it's not like that Browne has ever been down himself.HomicideHenry wrote:Browne can take a punch. Price can't. Browne essentially defeated a man who was a mirror image of Price in Towers. Browne can actually box under pressure and knows how to use his size and strength, unlike Price who just barges in. And I think the keyword in your sentence (too) is "down". Of course Browne has been down, but he got up to keep winning. Price doesnt have that in him, at least not yet.columbo wrote: I dont think boxing is quite that simple, you should know that. Also, it's not like that Browne has ever been down himself.
Browne can't box, Price can. Whoever lands first wins and based on everything we've seen, that's likely to be Price considering he's the better boxer of the two.HomicideHenry wrote:Browne can take a punch. Price can't. Price is better than Towers mate. They have similar punch resistance flaws but in terms of technique and patience, Price is clearly the better "boxer".HomicideHenry wrote:Browne essentially defeated a man who was a mirror image of Price in Towers. I didnt know standing like a robot and throw one-two jabs, and then forcing your way in like a wrecking ball, meant you were a 'boxer'. Cus that's what Price always did and thats never changed. Whenever he attempted to "box", he got tagged once or twice and reverted into being this brutish force--- and he tried to do it both times against Thompson. His comfort zone is to hurt someone as fast as possible, without any hiccups, or he falls apart. The man doesn't box-box in any capacity at all. Browne, on the other hand, does know how to use ring generalship and to work the jab; he may not be world class at it, but he's surely better at it than Price.expe wrote:Browne can't box, Price can. I suppose these crappy "boxers" always medal at the olympics.HomicideHenry wrote:I didnt know standing like a robot and throw one-two jabs, and then forcing your way in like a wrecking ball, meant you were a 'boxer'. At this stage of the game, I'd say they both are on the same playing field. And, when has Price ever been "patient" in the ring? In the rematch with Thompson, he was doing fine, til he got impatient and wanted to kayo Thompson--- and of course, he couldnt--- and then he fell apart mentally and physically. As for technique--- I dont see it. Price may 'pose' for about two-three seconds as a boxer, but he almost always inevitably goes from 'boxer stance' into being this bullish giant who wants to end fights as fast as possible.columbo wrote: Price is better than Towers mate. No offense mate but your a Fury groupie and Price beat him comprehensively on points as an amateur.HomicideHenry wrote:At this stage of the game, I'd say they both are on the same playing field. Are you really going to support and wave around the banner of the current amateur boxing system, and say that anyone in the amateurs, in the last couple of years since its been this computerised scoring system, as being really all that good?columbo wrote: I suppose these crappy "boxers" always medal at the olympics.
