I was wondering if anyone ever found any newspaper clippings or photographs of Billy Conn during WW2 while giving exhibition boxing matches. My grandfather always told me when I was real little that Conn visited the troops where Grandpa was stationed and gave exhibitions; and Grandpa was the middleweight champion of his regiment and boxed Conn in a three round (or five round) exhibition match. Was just curious if anyone had any treasures of Conn during that time.
