No it's too soon , Ward could ruin him and he needs to go down the Steiglitz or Bika route then a hope for a Froch rematch.
Chavez Jnr could be an option for Groves if he goes stateside

Don't understand why people use the 'too soon' line. What on earth is Groves going to learn now to make him better than he was in his last fight?
Also Ward doesn't ruin anyone. Andre by comfortable decision.

"Ruin him" in what sense? I'd predict a pretty wide points win for Ward, but i'd be very surprised if he got close to stopping him. More established fighters than George have suffered convincing points losses to Andre without being considered ruined.

Stieglitz or Bika would be better options and would help to build a future big Ward fight or Froch rematch if he won.

It's no disgrace losing to Ward. I dont think he'd be ruined by the experience he'd just recognise the fact that he was beaten by a very good fighter. Someone who will probably go down as an all time great.

What would be funny, is if Ward come out and said il fight the winner of a rematch. Froch would be pretty stuck then. Obviously he could fight Chavez jnr for a big payday but noone really gives a shit about that fight in all honesty.

George would get some success against Ward, his speed of hand and foot early doors would cause trouble, and he definitely packs the punch to hurt even the sturdiest of chins.
Wards experience would tell and I'd expect him to use a few rough tactics to edge ahead in the fight, maybe even wearing him down to a late stoppage.
Ward tends to fight the other mans fight at times, so i don't expect it to be a total wight wash.... more a close but clear pts verdict.

The problem is though mate that Ward himself has speed of hand and foot. Superior to George's aswell. I do think George could provide a tougher test than a lot of Wards past foes though.

Aye, people said Froch was too soon. Ward is another gear up, but why not?
However, I agree with the majority that Bika or Steiglitz would be better options.

Groves would have a very slim chance but a better chance than Froch would have. This fight could be built over a few fights. Bigger money. Degale v Ward could be very interesting what a chess match that would be.
