Caparello stripped of IBO title ??

Just read on another forum Caparello has or is about to be stripped of his IBO title because he is fighting Muriqui on ESPN TV. can anyone confirm or deny this ? IF its true I am baffled. Firstly the IBO refuse to sanction a bout against Pittman which I believe would have been a very competitive fight and now they are refusing to sanction a fight with TV exposure against a guy with a pretty good record and would be, again, a competitive bout. Exposure of ESPN in the USA being thrown away. and this by an organisation who has allowed much less credentialed opponents (or active) to fight for their belts in the past. If this is not correct, well I will be happy. Muriqui will give Blake one of his tougher bouts (as would Pittman).

It's o.k if he does get stripped of his IBO title he can by another for 50 bucks (although it's not worth that).

The good news (for those who have Foxtel), is that the fight will be televised live on ESPN in Australia on the Saturday afternoon of the 1st February.
