Looks like this has been re-arranged for later this month.

It was originally scheduled for December but was cancelled because David Price's had a 'virus' which coincided with him parting company with Adam Booth a couple of days later

Price's opponent is no gimme, he is 6'9 & 1/2, 23 stone and has only been stopped once by Alex Lepai (apart from his 2nd fight in a Moscow circus!).

He went the distance with Wach and looked like doing the same with Pulev until he was bizarrely DQd in the last round when they were both grappling with each other.

Pulev never once had him in trouble either.

Orlov has 14 wins and 10 by stoppage.

He doesn't look like an athlete, but his sheer size seems to enable him to take a punch and with 23 stone behind you, if you land clean you will knock your opponent out.

This guy is rubbish, but am worried with all Price's well documented problems that this is a real potential banana skin of a fight and a third consecutive stoppage defeat, especially to someone of this calibre might mean the end of his career.

It will also be odd to see Price physically dwarfed by someone

It will be a nervous watch!!

I thought Tommy Brooks was now training him.

I don't think it's that much of a banana skin. Is there any likelihood this fight or the Sauerland card will be on UK TV?

It's all ready on TV I think, allegedly have the Huck fight same night in Germany, must be on the same card.

Price was interviewed on Monday as part of Bunce's podcast and he mentioned that he loved the training with Booth but didn't enjoy London so he went back to Liverpooll with Tommy Brooks agreeing to train him there for the last six weeks or so of each camp. But then he mentions how he'd happily go to America or Germany to work with other heavies if necessary.

German promoters can get some real modest guys to 30-0, so I'd imagine Price will be okay here.

Orlov is extremely slow and blows quickly. Price needs to learn (if possible) to pace himself, box behind long shots and be prepared to grind down opponents, almost completely neutralising them before going for the kill. It won't be great watching but if you have a questionable chin, aren't great under pressure and are lucky enough to be tall, long limbed, solidly schooled and possess a serious dig then why not use your advantages to off-set your weaknesses?

Wlad shares several of Prices weaknesses and strengths. He's dull as dishwater to watch but he makes the most of what he's got and has completely dominated an albeit very weak division for a decade or so. Fair play

Orlov has fought like he's already retired for years. No danger there!

Is this fight still happening on the 25th? It's not listed anymore.
