This is Sports Network getting their own back for: 1) Abelyan pulling out of the first fight at late notice. And 2) for Gary Shaw (Abelyan's manager) daring to ridicule allegedly publicly over the Hatton-Mitchell negotiations.
Bobby Vanzie has been getting the same treatment.

Put back to June 19? Isn't Jamie Moore fighting Michael Jones on that date at Altrincham?

Abelyan tougher than Medina?

The guy lost KO1 to soon-to-be-Derrick-Gainer-victim Victor Polor, for cryin' out loud...

Yes, Warren's very active in the press release, almost TOO active. As my June 19 query above suggests, I don't think this fight will happen for a long time now, if ever. Gary Shaw's going to have to be taught a lesson.

Sat Jun 19 British & C'wealth Super-Middleweight title
Jamie Moore v Michael Jones SS2 20.00 Altrincham LC
According to the not updated and sometimes unreleable Sky Sprts Web-site TV guide, yes. And apparently both fighters have jumped up a couple of divisions as well!

So are Sky going to screen two big domestic shows on the same night? I don't think so. June 19 is either another BBC mistake or a big giveaway that Gary Shaw and William Abelyan are in for a rough ride before they ever get Scott Harrison in the ring.

ringside and sports network did a show on the same day with sky switching between venues, it invloved a hatton card and a Jawaid Khaliq card

Its definitely possible Bennie
The fight should still go ahead though, as its been heavily advertised in Glasgow compared to any of Scott Harrisons previous fights.
Everywhere the great McCoy turns(& McCoy twists & turns quite often, sometimes he even gyrates) in Glasgow city centre, a Scott Harrison vs William Abelyan fight poster is in front of McCoys handsome chiselled features!
However, although Harrison is doing the right thing by delaying the fight McCoy must admit that he is dismayed by the bad news.
On the flipside though, It just gives McCoy an extra 3 weeks to play the mamba & listen to the radio
Cos we built this city, we built this city on Rock & Roll...

You know, Frankie also owes Braehead one. He threatened never to stage another fight there after the Medina rematch, which had poor ticket sales. Frankie claimed the Arena barely publicised the fight.

Another reason for the poor sales in Harrisons last couple of fights is the fact that Alex arthur isnt featuring on Scotts undercards anymore.
Arthur brought down a helluva lot of fans from Edinburgh whenever he was fighting in Glasgow
Now on Harrison undercards you get guys like Murphy or Limond, decent fighters with a few hundred fans of their own, but neither a star attraction like Arthur has turned out to be up here

will it go ahead? If it doesn't then FW/Showtime might not have a relationship anymore!!
