Heffron will get him out of there about 4 maybe 5 rounds

Very even fight, neither fighter has beat anyone above journeyman level and Heffron's only fight above this level he got beat by Vassell. Neither has spectacular power either so I reckon it will go the distance.

Thain on points for me.

I don't think Thain has the power to keep Heffron off, so I'll go with Ronnie on points.

Easy win for Ronnie for me agree with the above. Thain is a tidy boxer but without power.

So can anybody explain to me why Heffron is not fighting Selkirk? Doesn't make sense both are now fit. what is the problem? When is Selkirk gonna fight someone decent?

John Thain is very capable. He may lack power but he is a very tidy boxer. I fancy John to take this one on points will be close though excellent fight

He's a presure fighter though and Thain won't be able to put him on the back foot, so he will keep coming forward and the pressure will pay off for Heffron sometime around round 9.

Agree 100%, how long are they going to keep touting Selkirk as a future star, he in his late twenties got an WBO euro title and still has not fought anyone of note.

I keep on hearing Selkirk has so much talent. He was meant to fight Heffron but Heffy got injured so why does he have to fight Thain and Selkirk fights another Welterweight know ones knows?
