Heard from a good source that Cleverly will be making his Cruiserweight debut against Chambers in Liverpool. Anyone else heard this? I only heard about 10 mins ago.

Just noticed that BJ Flores is currently Tweeting almost every known boxing outlet in the UK trying to land a fight with Cleverly here in the UK.

I'd be gob smacked if it were true. Chambers looked like crap on his CW debut, but I would have thought Cleverley would get someone easier for his CW debut. I can't imagine Chambers is cheap to bring over either.

Nope. The site owner of a reputable boxing forum started spreading the word late last night. He has good sources.

why chambers? heavyweight semi-name who was no good when he went down to cruiser.

sounds like a gimmick fight rather than one that will actually develop cleverly at this weight.

Nope. The site owner of a reputable boxing forum started spreading the word late last night. He has good sources.

a really weird fight.

that said, really hope cleverly can win a cruiserweight title, maybe meet bellew again in another terrific battle.

I don't think Warren even knows what's going on with Cleverly. He's lost the spark for boxing IMO

Very strange fight with seemingly no reason to happen whatsover for any parties concerned.

Hope it does though, odds should be interesting.

Doesn't look like happening according to Fury

Fury Sr indicated Chambers will continue to fight as a heavyweight and has the all the abilities to challenge again for a world title once again.

Interesting. Wonder if he is thinking Eddie can taken him in a different direction. He's either genuinely injured, genuinely making changes to his training team or treading water until his current promotional deal expires.

You may think that, but i'm sure he could get a better job pay wise so why does he carry on? Change of trainer and promoter and you'll see.

I have heard that he is splitting with his dad? I think he still wants to box and soonest.

I'm not so sure he could get another job that pays better but I hope you're right. The cruiserweight move just seems like a unplanned knee-jerk reaction to me but a new trainer sounds positive.
