Guys i have got a bit of foot arch pain , its at the side of my foot arch from the center of the arch going back to the rear, its sore and sometimes painful ,since my last run on wednesday its been bugging me even just walking with it etc

I have been getting up and running at 6.30 am and doing around 20 mile a week ,two 4 milers and two 6 milers per week , i am weighing about 106 kg,and wearing decent correct shoe (saucony OMNI 12) .
Been told it may be something called plantar fascia?
Any of you guys got any insight on it or ideas guys ,remedies etc ?
Thanks Garry

Go see a podiatrist (foot doctor) Maybe they will make you a custom pair of orthotics. Thats what I did and my foot problems went away

Quite expensive but totally worth it, imo. If not, research some non custom ones and buy them online. Try to find ones that are specific to your injury/pain. Also, try other forms of non impact cardio for now. Swimming, biking, etc. Feet can be quite tricky and it is worth it to spend the extra dough to fix it.
