I see Boxrec and allegedly's twitter feed have this announced, and Fury is deep into a training camp in Cannes - so it looks like it is definitely happening.

So who realistically at such short notice will Fury be fighting ... does anyone know any of the names floating around in the mix?

Am assuming it will be a tune up fight to introduce him to the Copperbox and shake off the ring rust from David Haye's 'injuries' losing him 10 months in the ring.

It's gonna be a someone mediocre as he said he needs a tune up.

If he couldn't bang Audley out round 1 it would be embarrasing after both Price and Wilder did it. So, if they did fight (they won't), Fury would go out looking to kill him round one, as we know Audley would completely freeze, stand still, using his face to block punches then go to sleep

Seriously I reckon Audley would be a massive banana skin for him. Look I started a thread once asking to boycott any threads on Audley he peed me off so much. But I genuinely think he would be a good bet and great odds. I can see Audley countering a wild shot from Fury and knocking him down. Then again I can see Audley also not throwing a single punch but earning an awful lot of money

Harrison would be an awful choice of opponent for Fury.

Far too risky for very little reward.

Surely Harrison won't get anymore money out of boxing ? He has robbed promotors and punters alike time after time I carnt believe there are many more mugs out there for him rob

Audley would have a chance. Fury isn't a big enough puncher to take him out with a 1PKO like Wilder or Price did.

He'll outbox Audley but Harrison would at least be a live opponent with a dangerous straight left capable of taking Fury out if he lands that big bingo punch a la Sprott.

Looks like it's Chisora vs TBA now too..
