well its true that Damiani had his nose broken from a left uppercut thrown by Ray Mercer - A punch that Gerry Cooney threw far more frequently, accurately and arguably with more power.

In some ways they are similar; they both had some ability but didn't have a career where they fought a lot of quality opponents. Guess I would have to go with Cooney because of his power advantage. Might be interesting for a while.
