Either Frank is not having any luck at all nowadays or he is not cementing his deals very well with opponents.

Let them fight each other, the fight is not as big as Frank likes to make out. They fought before which from what a remember won't live in the memory as a classic.

Got to admire Frank's faith in Dereck. Lost most of his big ones and he cannot say he wasn't in shape for Klitchsko or Haye and whilst brave in both he did lose widely to Klitchsko and got proper out skilled and gunned vs Haye.... He was losing to the untested Scott also.

Without meaning to sound disrespectful, I cannot imagine a fighter who had a bit of a struggle vs Sam Sexton ever going to make the next champion, Warren's faith that Chisora is a genuine world class fighter is admirable.

True, but in the context of the depth on the division I can see Chisora in a winnable world title fight at some point. Any promoter with a semi-credible Heavy on his books would probably feel the same.

I get your point in general but Chisora really did get robbed against Helenius and he fought very credibly against Vitali as a virtual novice. Aye he struggled early on with Sexton but that's how many young fighters develop. I'm not saying he's a stick on world champion but I can see why Warren would roll the dice with him in the current scene

I wasn't intending to have a go - I do find it admirable. Chisora vs Helenius, in my opinion, whilst he was robbed was closer than people think. One of the worst commentary ever was Duke?? and Rawling.... all night they were "can't separate them, this fight is anyone's"... then Helenius gets the nod and its "what a shambolic decision". Chisora won no doubting that, but some cards I have seen since (like Chisora by 8 rounds) were miles out.

In addition even if Chisora does win a version of the heavyweight title - who really cares? He is in an era when the entire division is shit - doesn't seem to be a massive ticket seller and does anyone (apart from the hardcore fans) give a monkeys that he is EBU champion, will it change that much if he was a world champion? When Haye fought Chisora did anyone give a monkeys about the world heavyweight title fight that was going to happen on the bill.

Without Haye can't see Chisora winning a version of the world title and defending it, in a non-Klitchsko, Fury defense, making back page headlines. His EBU reign isn't.

Chisora was inexperienced and out of shape when he fought Sexton - and stopped him quite comfortably, twice.

I feel a bit sorry for Chisora; he's had a ridiculous number of opponents pull out on him. First Wladimir (twice) and then his last three opponents have been "replacements".
