Thinking of getting tickets for the Burns Crawford fight.

What's the view like from the backseats?
Or worth going down a tier for an extra 20?
(Top tier are £40 lower tiers just over £60)

What's Glasgow like for a night out?

Never been to Scotland so fancy a day out on the sauce up there!

been once in the £40 ones are actually alright cause your in the top of one level and your not as far as you are in comparison to the $40 tickets for the MEN,

as for the "Sauce" we call it the bevvy .

Isn't it at the Hydro?

Sometimes I prefer the cheaper seats at venues like the Secc as it gives you a birdseye view and at the Burns fights the atmosphere in the cheaper seats is usually electric. I think the more expensive seats are sometimes sh1t unless you are quite far forward as everyone is on floor level with they tickets, Im usually unlucky enough to get the biggest guy in the world standing infront of me.

I will miss the fight due to working away from home but usually go to the Burns fights and its never left me dissapointed.

Looking at the seating plan, all of the tiered seat are £40. The £60 tickets are for floor seats.
I had a £40 seat for the Beltran fight and I was more than happy with it. Atmosphere was top notch in the tier.

Going take the mrs up for the day/night as a late valentines present! Genius idea encorparteing a sesh on the 'bevvy's' an a bit of live boxing if I do say so myself!!!

Not a problem for me usually like a good dive at the best of times but been a Englishman on foreign soil I'm not likely to encounter any problems?

Regarding the fight tickets, i think the SECC is being set up for 10,000 , the view from the 40-60 tickets are fine.

Glasgow is always a good night out but a wee tip if you are coming to watch whole or most of the bill, there are a few hotels right next to the SECC, for a few beers and something to eat these hotels are well priced.

The SECC is also a quick taxi away from the Town Centre or the West End, i recommend the West End (Ashton Lane), great atmosphere, less clowns about lol

It's far from rough pal. You will have no problems my friend. Plently of decent pubs with good value try Auctioneers near George Square. Or head to the Merchant City to keep the missus happy (Metropolitan etc).

Get the train from Central/Queen Street to Exhibition Centre, or taxi both only 5 minutes away. 20 minute walk. Enjoy!

No problems in a night out in Glasgow. Personally I'm not a fan of west end - better in merchant City IMO but you won't get any bother in either area.

If you venture out towards the wrong suburb/scheme it's a bit rough but the city centre is safe.

If you do venture up, you will have a great weekend (Glasgow has much friendlier people than Edinburgh)!

Glasgow is a terrific city mate. Some good tips already Merchant city and west end are great nights. There's also some really nice restaurants next to central station which is a short taxi ride from the venue.

Avoid the Gallowgate, the east, irish pubs and anything related to that poison.
