I felt macklin beat elcock at a stage where Wayne wasn't there! Elcock completely outboxed farnell at his best & farnell crushed some top kids in blundell & Scott Dixon who defeated jamie Moore who ruined macklin who was big at the weight but fought strong & got out done plus macklin got best by facey who Moore crushed, but then I think Rhodes beat a shell of Moore, years after bring crushed by blundell!

I remember thinking there's no way Ricky burns would have beaten a prime Michael Gomez, but fair fukks he totally proved me wrong going on to achieve what he did.

Tszyu, while he wasn't at his peak against Hatton, was definitely not that far his best in 2005. He'd smashed Sharmba Mitchell to pieces less than a year before, who was the consensus #2 in the division; no one at the time saw anyone else in the division as being close to him.

Your right, I believe in the first dharma fight tzyu was losing till sharmbay pulled out injured in around 8 rds with a shoulder injury & he betters that performance crushing Mitchell in 3 rds . So he was inform entering the hatton fight.

Jukko vs Gomez was horrible...

It all changed once naz went stateside,but it was the most exciting time of his career v kevin Kelly & augie Sanchez getting hurt each time.
The heavier naz got the heavier he hit but then I found his waist movement came down to 60% of what it was & he was getting caught alot!! People would put it down to levels.

Justin Juuko was a decent operator in his day, who looked beyond shot when he fought Gomez in 2004. Still fighting as of last year, staggeringly..

Its the nature of the sport, 'Crossroad fights' as some people call them.
Its always hard to watch fighters lose to people who they would have eaten in their prime.
The hardest one for me to watch was Hatton v Senchenko!
