Ok sky presenters are generally awful - but who is the worst? My bet is Ed Robinson. His delivery is awful.... Always the same intonation and hyperactivity.

Think they should ditch one of them and get a bit of eye candy on the front line??
One of the Sky Sports News ladies will do just fine.

Neither of above - Jim Watt is the worst of the Sky team by a country mile.

Smith easily, the overacting and growling that upper class ponce does is fecking cringeworthy, he looks like he should be in the house of commons not presenting sport, any sport.

Accurate and funny ! just finished reading his book, I bought it in a poundshop, which I am quite sure Adam never goes anywhere near. I give him 10/10 for effort presenting but he'd be more suited to something like polo or fox hunting

I like smith - at least his atonation is good. My problem is that they all deliver their lines with a shit eating grin on their face.... like they're all about to break into laughter...... boxing is a serious sport, people can get hurt. I don't think it's respectful or appropriate

You can imagine Smith saying "tally-ho" and it coming out as if he meant it, whereas for most people if they said it, it would be for a laugh....

Eds a throwback a well trained journalist. He's also someone with a tremendous knowledge of the sport and whose boxed. He is constrained by Smith and not allowed to offer opinions just to report facts.
Frankly Smith is easily the worst.Paul Dempsey had better delivery and would ask questions tough questions.Smith is a sycophant

Paul Dempsey is a great broadcaster I do agree, I remember him giving David Haye a right going over when Haye was criticsing the Wladimir Klitschko-Franseco Pianeta fight and Haye was picking lots of holes and Dempsey was calmly picking holes in what Haye was saying.

A lot of people on here thought he was out of line that night. Not me, it was great to see.

I can't believe anyone voted for Ed, he is so much better in every respect compared to Johnny and Adam. Just shows horses for courses.

Ed might not be the most exciting/entertaining presenter in his style but in terms of actual knowledge of the sport and asking the tough questions and yet being polite at the same time with it, he's the best by a country mile. The only one that bothers to come on here and converses with the fans aswell. Top guy.

To be honest Ed probably shouldnt be on the list, while Jonny and Adam are simply presenters Ed is a boxing journalist (granted he does present this) and knows his stuff. Best part of Ringside for me is Ed's

Ed is good. Johnny messes up his words a little too much for a presenter but on the whole can be funny and of course was a respectable world champ himself. Smith is annoying and cringe-worthy at times but I do still enjoy Ringside. My cousin actually works for Sky as part of the Rugby team but has told me that the boxing team as a whole are the most genuine guys at Sky, he's said Smith, Nelson, Robinson, Mccrory, Oliver etc are all really nice guys which is nice to hear as a boxing fan. On another note he also spent the whole day with Tyson when he came over for the Ringside special and said he's the nicest sportsman or woman he's had to deal with! Bradley Wiggins was the worst!

Smith and Watt the worst. Ed Robinson the best along with Bob Mee, both very knowledgeable.

Ed Robinson has been left in the shadows too long and deserves a decent crack of the whip, ideally replacing Smith who is quite possibly the worst sports presenter I can think of. Pompus, gushing, shit eating grin on every delivery, insincere, smug, sycophant who plays it safe every time and growls like a lapdog when he's trying to inject some 'serious' moments in his delivery.
Watt is generally very good for me. I don't always agree with his scoring but he calls a spade a spade and knows what he's talking about. Generally Watt adds to my enjoyment of a card and Smith get's damn close to ruining it!

Sh1t I meant to put Dave Darts on the poll.... I think they should get rid of the lot of them and start again. There are a lot of posts defending Ed Robinson; and out of everyone he has the best boxing knowledge but as a presenter he is awful. Ask yourself if you could see him doing a mainstream sports programme? Of course not. He should be behind the camera. And to my knowledge he has never been a trained journalist?
Smith is probably not the best but I actually think he delivers his words well. Apart from the growl.... Lol I like Jamie Moore an Glen McCrory. I used to like Jim watt but he seems to have lost it now

I think Moore, Mccrory, Paul Smith, Spencer Oliver and Tony Bellow all do a good job as pundits.

Did you know that this month and year is precisely the one Marty McFly visited in the original Back to the Future film ?
How many times are we going to have this thread ?

Nothing wrong with Gordon from Thomas the Tank Eng....sorry...Dave Darts, I quite like him, Nelson too, Watt should be in the studio not behind the mic.
