Seems like an interesting thread but as you lie constantly I wont read it.

I always considered it something of a lark or a joke whenever Marciano's name was stamped as a sign of 'approval' on an up and coming fighter---- usually some manager or agent would slip Marciano a few grand to make appearances around camp, do some interviews talking someone up, and then all of a sudden it seemed Marciano was no longer involved in a fighter's career, he was off promoting someone else. For a brief stint he was talking George Chuvalo up as the next heavyweight champion of the world, but then he was off on some other deal---- if Marciano wasnt talking up fighters for cash, he was spending (and often times losing money) on real estate deals, potato/tomato farms for Marciano brand foods, etc. Always the dollar, always after the fornicating dollar.
