Limon strikes me as the type of opponent that Gatti could pull off one of his miracle come from behind KO's against. I think he'd lose 3 or 4 of the first 5 or 6 rounds to Limon before he was able to catch him with one of those debilitating shots and ending the bout in sudden and dramatic fashion.

Two things would be certain: it would be bloody and Gatti would break a hand on Limon's face. The question would be whether it was 12 or 15 rounds, and whether Limon's body attack would wear Gatti down. I would probably go with Gatti because at 130 he was certainly quicker than Limon, but I wouldn't put a huge amount of money on it.

The hell is with the KO calls? This one's gonna be a war, but it's going to a decision. Limon was rock solid. Even Arguello couldn't KO him. A bad cut over Limon's eye caused the stoppage there. I rate Chacon higher than Gatti, and he and Limon went tit for tat, with Chacon just coming out on top. Honestly I think if Gatti fought in that era he'd fit right in, with multiple bouts being needed to settle the rivalries. I do think Limon is the most likely for him to get a one off won against, though.

I wanted to ask about Limon vs. Victor Rabanales, cause they both throw uppercuts the same way, but alas, different weight classes... where the heck does that uppercut style come from? Don't see it much these days.
