No he won't, he'll fight Kid Norfolk, and he'll be happy about it.

You are right. Norfolk is a nobody, but Patterson will happily paste him one.

No title shots for my guys, particularly Tunney.....which is a crime.....so match my guys against each other!

Yeah Tunney was the biggest surprise disappointment. If we ran another 1,000 fights, it probably would have come down to Tunny and Charles.

For sticking with it until the very end. Much respect to you guys, it's been a hard old paper round for us boys, but we've finally got there after some to-ing and fro-ing.

Hope to see you all stalwarts here next season, you are the rock on which The Sim is built.

And so the last four are:
Crease wrote:UNMATCHED FIGHTERS
DEADENDGENERATION - BILLY CONN, MATTHEW SAAD MUHAMMAD
KEVO - JOHN CONTEH
And in honour of it being the final week, DEG's guys will face each other... And ultimately that leaves John Conteh to fight for his honour against the highest rated CPU fighter - Mr Archie Moore who is ranked as high as 6th.

I think a post-season discussion/analysis ought to be done. This is all fun and games, but does it really detract us fight fans from who we believe the best LHW of all time as being? For my money the four best were: Charles, Moore, Tunney, and Spinks--- Langford, Loughran, Gibbons, are just a split hair away from those four; but never the less, was a very interesting sim season. Wasn't particuarly my favorite over all, but was damn interesting.

I will create a thread on this very topic in the next few days - after the Week 35 card is finally run and done.
I've had the thought before that Managers could/should have somewhere to go to discuss the exploits of the previous season and the culmination of it.

For me it's a top five of: Ezzard Charles, Archie Moore, Gene Tunney, Floyd Patterson & Michael Spinks - then there's a gap between the next tier. But every boxing fan is entitled to his own opinions.

In this topic Sam Langford & Bob Fitzsimmons are the tricky ones for me - (as most weight divisions normally do have dark horses) - I just don't know how to rank the two guys, there's definitely a credible shout to say they could be top five, but they just aren't in my book.

Hmm what if it's NOT the winner of the Bivins vs Loughran fight? Will one of them be stripped of the titles?

I would hope not. Those titles should stay with the winner of that fight.
