Do a lot of the journalists just write what they read here

I often find similar comments on here to in boxing news articles the following day. Perhaps it's just coincidental or is it lazy journalism?

I think some probably view the insiders on here as a valuable source.

Certain posters have far more info than the journalists. If you know who to listen to, and read between the lines, it's usually out there.

I don't think this is exclusive to boxing, it happens with a lot of sports.

Yes, particularly those journalists who blame George Groves, worship Jhonny Gonzalez & need weekly updates as to Chris Eubank's whereabouts/thoughts on geopolitics/news on how his haddock-farm is coming along.

You can't have missed coghaugen? He has a thread every four days on Eubank. I can't believe Chris still gets interviewed that much, & have in fact pondered that in fact coghaugen sits at the bottom of Eubank's driveway & ambushes him when he sees Chris going to get his morning paper.

Plus you can never rule out that journo,s post on here then repeat it in print next day
There,s been some funny accusations on here about peoples identidys,whether they were true or not i dont know
"Carrot Cruncher" being Sir John of Rawling being one from my early days

Glad to hear it .His commentary slips into cliches sometimes but he's a lot of enthusiasm for the sport and that is always welcome
