Who was the best fighter a Brit ever beat?

I,m not talking about career best performances or beating an elite boxer in their prime,im talking about whose the biggest name, star, legend, whatever you wanna call it a british fighter ever defeated?

It doesnt matter if it was controversial or the "star" was way passed his prime or whatever, just what brit has the best "all time great" victory on their CV?

I can think of 2 obvious ones off the top of my head but i,ll let someone get the ball rolling if they wish :TU:

There's only one answer to this one and it's so obvious it doesn't need writing.

I'd pick Holyfield over Tyson.

Wondering if Turpin's win is one of the two he was thinking of. I assume it is, it's the obvious answer.

I guess technically Danny Williams v Mike Tyson would also count?

Turpin's win over Ray Robinson is definitely the answer.

In the past 20 years Lennox Lewis' win over Holyfield is the best.

I think Calzaghe's win over Hopkins was a better win than the Roy Jones Jr. win. Roy was well past his best by the time Joe fought him, whereas obviously Hopkins still had a lot left to offer, and is still competing at a World Class level even several years after losing to Joe.

I thought Honeyghan,s win over Curry would come up as it is genuinely regarded as the best win for a british boxer but TBH as much as i know how good Curry was meant to be(p4p etc) i read a bit about boxing past and present and the only time i really see Curry,s name is in relation to Honeyghan,s win so why hasnt he got the adulation as such that other p4p greats have got :?? Lack of rivals?
