The letter 'from Burns' was sent from Morrison's email account apparently, so Ricky may well never have even seen it.

That can't be from Burns, can it?

I know Billy reads on here quite a lot so will probably read these posts. I like Billy and he always seems like a top man. I know he won't be able to say a great deal about it all to us but I'm sure he will be giving Ricky sound advice.

I don't know Alex Morrison but he needs to go. He is not very professional. Regardless of whether Fwank owes money, why put crap like that on facebook. Come on Billy, have a word with Ricky so you guys can concentrate on boxing. Sort it out soon!

Ricky needs to come out quickly here and explain himself. This is the sort of story that could capture the big media's attention and it could easily end up ruining his career. If he admits to reading and signing that letter, he's done for really. Sky won't have him headlining a bill.

The boards are quite strict with acting when they feel they have been brought into disrepute. I've spoke to Ricky a few times and have never heard a racist word be said. He also doesn't come over as someone who would agree to send that letter. Like or Hate Warren he's one smart cookie and seems to be someone not to cross. I hope Alex and Ricky don't lose their licenses over this

FW is the shrewdest mofo in boxing on this side of the atlantic! He can dig dirt from nowhere im sure.

That letter reads and sounds like somebody wrote it for "him".

I used to have a boss like FW, he used to have a folder in his email called "bullets" and I would periodically open it and take a look. The thick twat didn't know or realise so obviously I deleted any bullets he had against me. It went back YEARS, like what, over fifteen years.

That does not look like something Ricky Burns would ever write or say. He's never expressed any sort of political belief, racist views and I'm pretty sure he'd know how to spell repulsive, or at least use spell check. I don't think he's ever criticised anyone publically, even when leaving Warren, or slagged off an opponent. And while he doesn't seem to be massively into football, God Save The Queen isn't likely to be thrown about like that by a Celtic fan.

Which is why he should be cutting this one dead in the water ASAP. If somebody else has produced that letter using Ricky's name - which is what I think - he needs to come out and say it quick-sticks. Mud sticks.
