He deserves a shot, he has beaten nearly everyone over here, he has served his time.

Haskins would win with contemptuous ease. So unless he is a mandatory it aint happening.

You've got to feel for Haskins but this isn't Hall's fault. If I was in his shoes I'd be earning as much risk free cash for my family as possible and be prepared to wear the slagging.
4 governing bodies who are basically unaccountable to the sport are the issue. Until that get's solved it's all just hot air and pish!

I think we all know the issue is Haskins is unlucky with the promotional and TV issues.
If he could pick up an International or Intercontinental title with the IBF he would soon enough be mandatory (2 defences at most) but with his high ranking with the WBC and a promoter without a TV deal it's too big a risk to take to sacrifice his WBC ranking. I hope he can get the European title back or get one of the WBC's plethora of international/silver titles and get himself into a mandatory spot with someone. If he retires without getting a World title shot it would be a travesty given he has beaten all the British bantamweights who either got World title shots or WON World titles.

WBC International title fight on the DeGale undercard March 1st. IBF would be the better option to me because it would be a lot more likely to be at home since Hall or Ward will be the champion after they fight, the winner will possibly fight Paul Butler and Jamie McDonnell's being lined up for another shot at it, if he could get a fight with one of those, apart from Butler and possibly McDonnell, I'd back him to win a world title.

Haha forget all I said then. I had no idea it was for the WBC International title, that is excellent work from his team, it'll hopefully generate regular fights against International opposition. Dare I dream for Matchroom to sign him if he wins because with such a high WBC ranking and that title he will surely be in line for a final eliminator or could be installed straight in as mandatory.

Would be a good option for Selby's undercards in Cardiff, Rees seems to be done, Buckland will be on the road against the other lightweights and Jenkins isn't at the stage where he could be chief support. They signed Hamilton as well, to then not sign Haskins would be weird when he's 5 years younger and a better fighter with a bigger fanbase.

Being pedantic, no Haskins does not deserve a shot - but neither did Hall. Haskins deserves a fight with Hall, but I do find it particularly difficult to call Hall a world champion.
Whoever wins a round robin series of Haskins, Hall and Ward I don't see any as world champion. Haskins, the best of the three, was short at EBU level.

Exactly, Hall got lucky Haskins didn't, that's boxing. Maybe Eddie should sign him up for a Matchroom eliminator again McDonnell to determine who should fight Hall.

Of course he's short at EBU level, he's only five foot three!
