I think the Aussies have a real prospect on their hands here. Interesting character & his manager sounds like a right one too.

Best of luck to him.

He has the potential to be world class for sure but I think Qamil Balla is more skilled and would win a decision if they met.

Watching that clip Balla looks like an exciting, albeit wreckless, puncher. Would love to see him on a few TV cards this year. I noticed he got dropped in his pro debut, so maybe that has firced him to tighen things up a bit. Anyway good lukc to him, can't wait to see him fight again.

I think based on their professional records Horn would be a very solid favourite if they met as 3 of Horn's last 4 fights have been against guys of much higher quality that anything Balla has fought.

My money's on Horn if they ever meet.
After their TD last year the Horn V Cesaire rematch on Fox in a month's time should be good value.
I think the Hornet wins this one.

Qamil is a lovely young man and a very good boxer but there's a very good reason why he won't be looking to step up to welterweight anytime soon. There is nothing in a fight with Qamil for Jeff Horn. His rise in the pro's has been hard to keep up with. He is meeting Cesaire on March 19 for a WBO Oriental Title and a chance for a top 15 WBO ranking. Horn by stoppage for mine but Cesaire will hang around for a while. Should be a live Fox show and not to be missed.

It is Fox show, but promoter Myer is yet to confirm title.

He will do something special, my money is on him to be the next big thing from here. Hid win over Rabah as a professional in his first year is unprecedented, with the exception of guys like Fenech & Kostya.
