The heading should read "DANNY GREEN COMEBACK 2014?"

Danny would only get back into the ring for a square up with Mundine at catch-weights, and then only if the money was right!

What prompted this topic? Yesterday green was commentating during west coast v freo game and stated an overseas opponent had dangled a carrot in front of him earlier that day. He wouldn't elaborate concentrating more on his one punch campaign and new gymnasiums.

I get the feeling that it would have to be a big carrot for him to fight again. Might as well call him semi-retired atm.

I would like to see him fight the road warrior Glen Johnson. There both old men and still have a bit of sting left in them.

Not a bad fight, I must say!

I dont mind it for a fight at Challenge Stadium and as a warm up for a bigger money fight, possibly at Perth Arena. Im not sure Johnson financially does much as he isnt a huge name like RJJ or even Tarver. There's only one or two (BHOP being one) that i think gneretaes the finacial benefit to Green to warrant him coming outta retirement. all that said I would pay to see him fight whoever.

Boxrec all time rankings have him very low on thier list. When he retired as a lt heavy he was somewhat worthier.

tarver is a heavy, now. also he has a few things to clear up outside the ring, but could go
back down to cruiser

Tarver's cashing dud cheques at casinos. Pay him enough and he will boil himself dowen to 183-85 Greens optimum weight. Gives Green a chance.
