A few shenanigans which is always good. Interested to hear Daniel missed weight. From all accounts it was only by a matter of grams.

Geale returned the favour by giving Wood's family jewels a bit of shaking in round 1 & again in 2nd, which cost him one point

I didnt see any low blow in the 1st, just wood looking for a breather. As for the 2nd rd i though that was belt line, but maybe low, certainly not worthy of a point deduction.
The ref was ordinary and lacked any professionalism whatsoever

Geale did land one in 1st & was warned, hence he lost a point in 2nd...albeit on belt line.
Not one of the better nights at the office for ref Lucas. He dropped the magic word in one of the fights...I guess he forgot he had a microphone

He dropped the f bomb twice in one fight. He was terrible. Let wood get away with heaps of crap and took a point off geale for a belt line punch.

I must've dived for another stubbie & didn't hear it twice

I agree dan. Ref was very average, often caught on wrong side of the fighters, deducted a point when it wasn't warranted and missed the bell. Just glad he didn't ruin the outcome.

My kids were walking past the lounge room when this Grub yells.
' yeah I fucken know the rules, shut the fuckup'
My Mrs walks the kids out of the room.
Less than a round later, he's swearing at the end of the round, in I think Woods corner.
Not really what you want to hear from a professional. The 1 point, belt is fine. Lets wood off with everything....

Lets not make a song & dance out of it. Sitting ringside, I heard it many times over the years. Naturally, if not televised, refs ain't microphoned. In the heat of the moment Charlie simply forgot.
You should hear what some combatants spit out during the fight....they enjoy giving ref cheek. At times more than cheek, which would qualify for DQ

Mate Charlie seems a good bloke, thought it a little odd, and when my Mrs cracks at me, I crack at the people that caused the situation.
They're not supposed to be up, but my 2 eldest girls love to test me, and rather than go to bed, and for the sake of peace, they'll tell me they want to spend time watching boxing with me
