Easy enough ... when their careers culminate, which of the two prospective "golden boys" of British boxing do you believe will have had the more successful career?

Can either or both of them win a genuine version of the world title?

Feel free to elaborate!

Haye is the better fighter, I think both can win geniune versions of the title because neither devision is alive and well with world talent.

I gather this poll is a point proving exercise in opposition to the BBC over-hyping Froch?

Goes without saying as far as I am concerned. Haye is better and will go further.

Heh.. yes, but its funny how perceptions change isn't it. After the Mock fight, the "chinny" David Haye was going nowhere fast according to some....

Well personally I've always been a big fan of Haye, my only ever gripe with him was after that slightly shakey fight where I remember saying on here that I hope his defence improves.

My opinion hasn't changed about Haye, still think he's a great prospect and would probably blitz Enzo or Thompson for instance, but like most big punchers he doesn't take a shot too well.
He can still go far and it'll be an exciting ride while it lasts.

The encouraging thing with David is his age, he has so much time to improve and as far as I am concerned it's definitely a case of "so far, so good".

Yes, Jeej. That is a good point, its Carl Froch who is being hyped as the world greatest prospect but he is pushing 27. He is infact older than the criticised Hatton.

No disrespect to Audley *he says through gritted teeth*, but turning pro at 32 and putting in a load of lack lustre performances hardly gets the mouth of a fan salivating.

David Haye is exciting, he is just what British boxing needs.

I have always said Haye is the real deal even when the Mock incident happened (which I dont think was that big a deal).

I must admit, I really thought Haye would struggle last night. But the quick win has sold me. Unless he turns out to have a chin like Errol Christie, Haye is going all the way.

That is the only thing that could let him down although I have no major worries at this stage, He is too good to lose this early although it isnt inconceivable that he could lose down the line.

He will be getting a world title without a doubt.

I think they both performed well in the World Championships a couple of years ago, with Haye "going for it" more than Froch did and getting a Silver medal.

But Froch is leading the way so far with a solid but tough win over Adamu and could pull ahead of Haye further come 2 June 2004.

To me, Carl beating Dodson would need Haye to beat Enzo Maccarinelli or Mark Hobson to keep on a level with Froch.

The fact Froch had a much harder time beating Adamu than Tyspko did just a week or so earlier said it all for me.

The only problem is Haye's punch resistance.....

17-0-3, i expected Haye to win...but not by that much.

I think Haye is the more talented, however Froch appears to take a shot better, and that can make alot of difference.

But i still favour Haye

Neither will win a genuine world title,but then who in britain would.Honestly I think those two will falter a long way before.Froch is slightly better,but Haye at 23 has time.His team should think of that.

for me haye is the better boxer.. if his defence continues to improve.

Haye holds his left a little low just like Froch and eventually one or both will get punished...I liked Haye's little Hatton dig. He said something along the lines of "I want to fight the best Like Miguel Cotto does, not pad my record to 35-0 against nobodies"

They're both good. However, I question Haye's chin and I question whether Carl has much variety with good guys.

WOW ..so with 27 votes so far, not ONE person believes Froch's career will outperform Haye's...

I was one of the few who sat on the fence and got splinters up my
arse and reckon they'll do about the same, but the Froch detractors must acknowledge Carl has achieved more than Haye so far?

Haye undoubtedly over froch,
despite having a different style I feel Mr Haye is gonna end up the next Nige Benn, full of offensive intent but also the vulnerability that make his fights so exciting.

I really hope so I truly do believe he will be a superstar but will get kop'd at some point of his career to bounce back.
