What happened to Joe Lovell from Chester?
Good amateur pedigree, looking at being a good prospect in the pros.
Had the pleasure of watching him fight a few times. Great style, unorthodox.
Tricky lad who could mix it up and read a fight well. I watched him in his last pro fight against John Thain.
In my opinion if that fight went another round I could see Lovell taking the win that night.

I seen him a few times in his amateur days and twice as a pro (his debut against carl Allen and against John Thain) does any one know why he's packed in? Its a shame a good kid!!

fancy coming across this haa!! i'm currently out of boxing due to my own health issuses but if i get the all clear next month i will be back at it and jock the thain fight was a good learning fight two unbeaten up and comming pros willing to put there o's on the line. not something you see much of these days!! john got the decision that night but i boxed well considering i was crap the week before but i got dropped in the first with a shot behind the ear and returned the favour with my own left hook in the second what was ruled a slip haha!! i had some bad look from july to november in 2012 with fights falling through and me and my wife found out 2days before i boxed john that we were having a baby so priorities changed.. Hope this helps ;)

Well that answers that then!! Who you looking at training with when your back into it? And who you looking at to manage you? you were with fight options and steve goodwin weren't you? would you go back there? or a whole new team? Pocket who do you think Lovell should look at going with?
