So no Jones v Tarver II for us

It's a big shame. We get the first fight which wasn't really one to look forward to as most of us were fed up that Jones had dropped back down from heavyweight, and Tarver was hardly Mr Excitement himself anyway.

Now there's a rematch with an offended Jones Jr looking for revenge (oh yeah he won the first fight didn't he, forgot) which means there's a good chance he'll produce something explosive on the night, but we don't get to see it.

It's most unfortunate.

plus we miss bruce seldons comeback v gerald nobles on the undercard. just as unpredictable as the main event IMO.

Can't say i'm surprised, SKY are crap.

I'm going with Jones via TKO in 10 in a dull encounter.

seldon takes me back to the good old days when i first got into boxing. great times. it makes me smile knowing hes back. as a boxing fan, how on earth can you dismiss a fight between an untested banger and an aged but in his day very skilled ex-champ with a completey unpredictable outcome as 'going to be crap?'

maybe in your opinion mate.

There is no consistency in UK boxing coverage is there? With most other sports you know that matches/tournaments of a certain level will be broadcast but with boxing it really seems they chuck it on when they feel like it.

Sky should be especially embarrassed, pandering to over-protected UK prospects whilst not showing the best in the world.

If anyone wants commentary, a guy over at boxingtime.com called Godfather will probably do so.

You have to download paltalk, cos thats where the chatroom will be set up.

he hasn't said he'll do it yet, but he probably will. there will be a few brits in there, and it will probably be a laugh.

You seem to have pleasure in saying yeh I am going to watch but tough shit to the rest of you. Hmmm sounds rather like someone with a head like a vegetable on another forum and his Vince Phillips story.. Anyone with any form of IQ would just tell the bum bandit to "^Ck off, ESB must be made to still keep him on board. People like lightsoot and get in the ring are go journos but they are wasted working for a prat like potato head.

I have no problem with Adam just thought it was taking the piss to put something like this up.

Don't expect that kind of thing here, but would on other forums!

yeah i didn't mean what i said in a malicious manner at all, and have explained so. Purely banter. but i've realised it may be interpreted wrongly, so have taken it down. no worries

The bottom line is, we're all pissed off that such an intruiging rematch is not being screened. Jesus, after the crap we were served up on Thursday they owed us Jones-Tarver II.

yeah, and Mayweather-Corley? far more interested in this.

but there is definately an issue with Don King, he obviously charges more.
