if Hatton/Calzaghe was on the 5th, i think it would of been worthy of a ppv.

Yeah i doubt it would warrant a PPV as only the hardcore would buy it. It needs a Lewis, Naz, Tyson to get the casuals interested.

I love Vegas - my bird (and my mates' birds) won't let us go on our twice yearly trips unless we have a fight to go to - our rationale was that by going to the "semi-finals" we have to go to de la Hoya - Hopkins in September.....

Don't book your easyjet too soon, you might end up with a Strum v Allen superfight in Sept!
Like Winky says, trust Oscar to find the lightest punching middleweight WBO "champ" out there as his "next challenge"

Seriously, 33-1 just about sums it up - Ricky and Frank would be proud of those odds.

Anyway, don't worry people - both "fights" are live on Polish TV :D

Have you been on Lord Rupert's secret sherry supply Eric?

I protest this outrageous accusation!

But I have been nipping from the case of single malt the good Lord was kind enough to send my way, along with a note (I highlight the humorous spelling) saying "Enjoy the whisky, old chum - but don't drink it all at once, for PEAT's sake." Cracking good wit, that Lord Rupert. Makes it quite worthwhile to put up with his many eccentricities. Ask him to tell you the story (over sherry, of course) about the greyhound, the rolling pin, the shuttlecock and Lady Rupert's disastrous dress-fitting session sometime. It'll have you in stitches!

It's worth remembering Oscar and Hopkins aren't fighting eachother on June 5th. Neither is in exciting matchups it's all just curiosity value.

Although Lazcano v Castillo should be battle.

Agreed, I think Lazcono vs Castillo is a very close fight to call. There is alot of curosity value in the two big fights. How will DLH cope at Middle, is Straum any good. Is now the time for Hopkins to falter? Robert Allen is probably a better challenger than Joppy the last time.
