Khan did mention Broner's name as a possibility for his next fight on ringside last night

come out from people around him, not signed and sealed yet, but Khan has agreed it, good match for khan, if he wins this, could be Mayweather next and he would have tested himself already with the Mayweather style.

i like this fight if its on , a few fights ago i think most would tip Broner to win but not now ,

Khan should be 2 fast but again always the danger that he gets caught , Broner showed toughness against Maidana to go through 12 rounds ,

Are you expecting Maidana to put up a good fight?

I like the fight myself I have to say! I could see Khan winning it but there's always the danger that he could get caught as Broner does have a decent dig on him.

only an imbecile would claim that broner fights like mayweather. chalk and cheese. one is a master defensive boxer , meticulous in every detail , hard working and focussed, and very ,very experienced. the other is just a fine athletic specimen who bullies much smaller men. if you want to make comparisons....khan and broner are quite similar...both world class shittalkers, more hype than substance.

I love this matchup, great fight to make - Broner could be damaged goods after his last fight, Khan is Khan. It's one of those true 50-50 fights so in that sense it's much more exciting than Khan v Mayweather which was clearly not anywhere near a 50-50 fight.

Weight will be critical - is this at 140 or 147.

Thought Khan looked worn vs Diaz. Different to the Prescott and Garcia fights it seemed like every time Diaz nailed him he was doing dances - even if there wasn't much on Diaz's punches. Against Garcia and Prescott he took bombs, well he didn't take them but it required bombs to get him out of there.

Showed great fitness mind.

On a side I'm quite surprised no one has noticed how utter shite he looks on the floor to celling speed bag on that maximuscle sponsorship thing for the channel 5 boxing. I laugh everytime I see it, he misses more than he hits it.

And to put it another way, against Mayweather he has no chance.

Only someone who does not understand boxing would make such a statement, but for the benefit of Intelligent posters, Broner model's himself on Mayweather, copies his moves, his character, even his lines, he throws the right, on catching his opponents left hook to the body, he shoulder rolls, then kicks off the back foot to throw his right, he crosses up, with shoulder high, to deflect, he rocks back to roll shots, then forward to counter, he leads well with the left hook and throws the jab out when pretending to cover up, uses his elbow illegally inside to gain space to get he shots off and to lift his opponents chin up, to expose their chin, he leads with a sharp right, lifting and kicking off the back foot, he is also a great finisher like Mayweather and puts fast combinations together occasionally, he may not be Mayweather but the nearest we have seen to him, people thought he was the new star, until he got hurt by Maidana, but like Mike Tyson said "everybody has a plan until they get punched in the face "

Yeah i'd say their styles are pretty damn similar. The differences are that Floyd uses his legs a lot to avoid punches, he's a lot more effective with the philly shell and also Broner is more of a front foot fighter. They both like to counter punch though and their shot selection is very similar.

Broner does use his legs like mayweather in sparring, but has become more arrogant and thinks he can walk people down and stand in front of them, like Mayweather did with Cotto and Moseley, not Mayweather best performances.

ive watched broners last four fights and he bears no resemblance to mayweather in any way other than the obvious incorporation of the shoulder roll into his fighting style. its like saying naz was similar to ali cos he did an ali shuffle.

would be a good fight and looks like the only way khan can get mayweather in the ring is if he beats broner. khan would be too fast for broner who likes to fight at his own pace which is walking speed. khan would stop broner i think.

I would be surprised to see this happen (great fight) unless GBP are fed up with either or both fighters a loss fore Broner... Or a loss for Khan...

Khan's people said he got the Mayweather fight and contracts were signed...........
