Sorry: But It's Amir Khan's own bloody fault!

Hi all,
the last few days have seen Amir Khan acting like he has been hard done-by and I have to say I have zero sympathy for him. He has never fought at Welterweight, has lost two of his last four, has only faced a blown-up ex-Lightweight in the last year (who had him on the floor and should've got the stoppage win in my own opinion) and doesn't bring a world title to the table.........
He should have fought for the IBF in December as originally planned and then maybe got the Mayweather gig as a unification match: much better for Mayweather to fight Maidana and grab the WBA belt :-)
Anyone else a bit fed-up with Mr Khan's "hard done by victim" routine?

What if....He'd fought Alexander and lost.
If someone was waving a multi-million $$$ carrot under your nose you wouldn't have a tough fight in the interim.

Good enough to be a Mayweather opponent? Then good enough to beat Alexander 5 months prior to the possible date

Alexander spanked Maidana and made him look like a crude clueless slugger. Look where he is now!
Mayweather dining on Khan and Alexanders leftovers

Whilst Khan is left without a meal.
Interesting...

There is a link here somewhere.
Don't ask me to explain it though please.

Khan reminds me of the latter version of Hamed. Him and his group of friends think they know it all. Mayweather has proved differently,as did Barrera.
He's not a superstar, was never a superstar and will not be a superstar. He's a bloody good boxer, though and a very rich man through it.
Get real Amir. Get back home ,settle down, shut your mouth and train like never before, up and down the hill around Bolton and lets see what you can do before the final curtain.

It always was going to be Maidana, his stock is at an all time high after spanking undefeated hypejob Broner and it's a fight in which Mayweather can look good.

The bottom paragraph is hilarious imagine Khan trying to carry his ego up Rivington pike.
He is too far gone up his own arse to regroup and address the issues. Im still un convinced its not a PR game to build a Mayweather fight later on.If he could follow instructions and not get drawn in then a rematch win over Garcia would put him in a good position. But he cant/won't and would be a catastrophe if he lost again .Limited options he has now our Mr Khan.

Limited options? It's not like he is pressing the Board to make him mandatory for the British title

FMJ would
look just fine making Khan do a jig all night until the mismatch was stopped, but Floyd would get no credit for it. Maidana earned the shot. Khan attempted to duck his way to it.
The choice has been made. Live with it.

To be fair, for all of Khan's faults, Mayweather got everyone to vote, Khan won, then decided on Maidana. I'd be pretty pissed

Yeah but Dan, Khan has about a million more twitter followers than Maidana. On top of that, in the other polls like ESPN, etc. Maidana was far out in front.

I don't believe any of it. You're right, it's like one direction one the only brit award that was voted for on twitter BUT what was the point of the vote? Khan won. I don't for one minute think that's how a fight should ever be made but why have a fight then fight whoever lost the fight
Doesn't matter at the end of the day. Mayweather will do what he wants, fight who he wants, remain unbeaten and earn $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ in the process

Well tbh Floyd looks good against everyone, there's nobody anywhere near his level not even Pacquiao, you only have to look at Pacs 3 life and death struggles and then knockout by Marquez(who Floyd picked apart with frightening ease despite not fighting for nearly 2 years) to see a big gulf in class.

Out of interest, what were the "raw numbers" for the Mayweather poll?

But the way there going off with the Brook situation its not about money so why would they be bothered??? there offered $5 mil for brook and saying not about money.

The voice of sanity!! Anyone who calls a boxer a bum, let alone a world champion, clearly is not a fan of the sport

I agree-boxers should fight and not wait around for a year or more in the hope of a big pay day. Khan should have fought Alexander and proved himself.

Why is he a bum? He is one of the most entertaining fighters we have had for many years. Great fighter to watch.
