Re: Duane Bobick vs. Scott LeDoux ~ "The Minnesota Brawls"

I've been re-reading my first Frank Bruno book and LeDoux appears to have been the first named opponent the Bruno camp actually felt they needed to be properly concerned about......probably a wise decision as well, considering LeDoux had given everyone who was anyone a proper argument for over a decade and had upset the odd applecart.
Big Frank delivered the full stop to this legendary hardman's career which is arguably a credit to Frank's punching power or being uncharitable, a case of a young contender bowling-over a busted flush.
Bruno said that Scott was surprisingly crude and basic. Fair point; but that basic swinging style had served LeDoux extremely well in the past. Scott seems to have been one of the last Cavemen heavyweights.
