Might be a bit of needle with this one - not sure about the details

Hughes is a big guy I think, so nice to see Hughie fighting someone his own size.

Am sure Hughie will win though.

Equally, it would be nice to see Anthony Joshua facing 6'5, 6'6 guys rather than the 5'10 Argentinian Cruiserweight he fought last week.

I am aware Hector Avilla (spelling) is listed at 6'1 on this site, but he looked 3 inches shorter than 6'1 Dereck Chisora when they fought last year ;;-)

Danny bee lined up for a while last time I spoke to Danny he mentioned it Danny will give it a go won't just fall like a journey man wTched Danny dpar many rounds with Chris Hightower burton and Dave Dolan he s not bad I'd be surprised if he stops Danny

Yeah should be a good test for fury, Hughes is a good domestic fighter who will go in there to win. Any news on burton, will he ever return? I remember you said you were trying to get a fight with Cornish, did that fall through?

Hightower was back in the gym and due to working long hours and having a family didn't go well with his wife and Cornish came down sparring give Hightower a going over but it was Hightower first few spars since he returned to the gym so was well rusty

This is a great bench mark test for Fury and a great opportunity for Hughes. Excellent matchmaking at this stage of each fighter's career if it comes off.
Just a shame it looks to be in Sheffiled and not in the North East.

Shame I always thought he could have been britsh or commonwealth champion at heavy weight unfortunately he seems to have had too many gaps of inactivity in his career.

Can't see why this is thought to be meaningful, he lost clearly to Audley and Sprott in Prizefighter tournaments. good luck to him but Fury stops him for me

Hughes seems like a nice enough lad but he's awful. Slow, no real power and his boxing's as thick as pork mince. Hughie should stop him comfortably.
