Best Heavyweight in Britain - Johnny Nelson?

After being disinctly underwhelmed by Willams and Harrison in a short space of time, and yet to be convinced about Skelton's boxing skills, watching last night's show just made me think about what Nelson would do if he moved up.

And I think he'd beat them all. Points. But he'd win. Knows too much for Harrison and Skelton and I can't see Williams losing enough weight to bother him. Plus he's shown he can take a heavyweight shot of sorts.

Not that I think he should, because I see him as a very good if ageing and avoided cruiserweight, but it's a sad reflection if anyone agrees with me (in more ways than one...)

Sorry, Stu, you're obviously faster off the mark than I am... :)

Nelson did move up years ago and he looked awful I heard. He's got so much muscle as a cruiser he'd look a bit fat and small as a heavy.

Nelson is a massive cruiserweight, I remember his fights with Akinwande and he looked the part. When his opponent changed and he fought Vassiliev for the WBU heavyweight title (about 2 years ago) he came in a 14 and half stone (a stone heavier than usual). There was still no fat on him.

At a 6 foot 4 and skinny frame, he would look good at Heavy.
