Ochieng outright win @5/4?
Surely too big against a 4 fight 34 year old novice??
To be fair I know nothing about Perkins and indeed Eric is in poor form as of late....
Anyone fill me in please about Perkins......I think this is my bet of the weekend....

I am sure Perkins was a fairly good amateur (don't hold me to it, but I think he won a bronze in the commonwealth), I wouldn't bet against him

Stayed amateur for a while, then packed it in before the Olympics after failing to qualify and felt he was too old to turn pro, but changed his mind in the end.

In regards to recent amateur outings, he lost out in the 2010 ABA's to Hosea Burton by 1 point.
Perkins can fight and being over eight rounds may suit him.

I think Perkins has decided to give it a go and see how far he can go. Cant blame him. Also whilst he is getting on in age he's probably fairly fresh.
