what has happened fellas, has everyone gone on holidays,i enjoy reading your posts, i thought there may have been a comment about the newcastle promotion last week when the fight? was called off and two prelim boys, one had i fight which had gone 1 round and the other boy had 3-4 fights were put in as the main, the winner in one round young Dryden is a very good prospect, the crowd [packed ] paid $45 to $150 with no refunds given, the main support ,was a non event because the import could not get his visa to come into the country, the main was called off, there are quite a few reasons going around the town why it was called off, the old Stadium would have been burnt down , i think most of the crowds are going
for a drink ,70% of them are there for a night out., next we have the mundAne circus,
N ewcastle deserves better, all the best

Reading the below press report, throws a dubious light on this event:

Maybe Chad, who is getting a bit long in the tooth, could find some local lads up in welterweight land (it is only 3lbs away), who could give him an interesting night out, viz Lenny Zappavigna, Jeff Horn or Michael Katsidis.

The Mundine circus is still coming to town, with poor old TBA having to fill 4 bouts at present.

What an ordinary main and semi any how, I wouldn't have left home for that, let alone what had ended up being. With only three pro fights, featuring three debutantes in those, not exactly a stacked card, I would be wanting a partial refund, I think the puters should be offered it, isn't there a minimum number of rounds that have to be promoted? Surely 12 rounds promoted can't be legit.
