Though I know what you meant, your post has given me a disgusting mental image of McDermott taking his clothes off.

Warren said he was unable to promote the contest so it's going back out to purse bids, nothing to do with McDermott, he's the one now sat doing nothing while Lewison fights Chambers. If anyone should be stripped, then Lewison should be stripped of the mandatory position since it's obvious why Wazza said he couldn't promote the fight, Lewison had another fight lined up, but needed a fall back option if he lost.

12th April I believe. Also heard that he was meant to fight on the Stuart hall undercard.

Why can't McDermott fight somebody else then? he pulled out last time.
As for Lewison v Chambers I am a fan of Lewisons but think this is too big a step up in opposition for him at the moment.

Mc dermott versus anybody would be a start. he needs to defend or vacate there is an exciting heavy weight division in this country people like Mcdermott are just blocking others progress with their inactivity.

But is it McDermott's fault? He must be gutted by not fighting. At least Lewison still gets to fight...

difficult to say whose fault it is maybe neither of the fighters. I base my criticism of his inactivity on his long tendency to it not just this one fight.

McDermott knocked Sexton spark out in sparring a couple of years back.

As I just said on the LarryO Hearn thread on Ian Lewisons twitter he's implying it was Steve Goodwin that pulled the fight with McDermott.

Two people have said it, including McDermott - though he didn't reveal it to Sky when asked to be fair to him.

Thats rubbish. The purse bid was won by allegedly who decided they did not want to promote the fight anymore. I intended to promote it myself but decided instead to release Ian from his contract for reasons that I do not want to state.

Lewisons twitter only says ask Goodwin who has just replied.
This would have been a good fight now Lewison is in against Eddie Chambers and looks overmatched I feel it may be the beginning of the end for Lewison.

Noticed Eddie Chambers is fighting on the Hall v Ward bill this weekend too altho I don't know who the opponent is. Think it goes without saying it will be a can at such late notice and with a fight with Lewison a few weeks away.

its a warm up for Chambers as he hasn't fought for a while Lewison should have had one too.

No, it shouldn't be depressing at all.
