Can anyone recommend one, I would love to read an insight on to life on the road for such a fighter? Any help be great

The most interesting tale would be a collection of stories from journeyman. It would be fascinating. Unfortunately it would be too niche to sell many copies.

Well if Johnny done a book and sold it for a tenner to all of his previous opponents he would make a no bad coin on it. Lol.

haha, thanks mate.to be honest while I'm still involved in boxing, its not the best idea to open up about some of my shenanigans All in good time.

It's mark turley from boxrec bringing out a book like that this year Mr turley is a really nice bloke & a good writer. This should be worth a read

Sounds a good idea that would be interested in reading that.

I always thought a travelling journeyman would make a good main characer/setting for a film.

One went on ebay for about £6 (with postage) a couple of days ago, there's a specialist boxing book trader - hedgerow books, based in Doncaster, he'll be a good bet though it'll likely cost a bit more.

I liked Michael Murray but the book really wasnt a good read, I have a signed copy somewhere, ill fish it out and put it up fro another quick quiz prize

Setanta Sports showed a documentary on Tony Booth about 7 years ago. It gave great insight to the life of a journeyman. I'm sure it's on Youtube. If the book is anything like the documentary, it'll be a fascinating read.

Real published and well edited, they are fantastic, well written and some excellent boxers and stories. Well worth the money.

My book features Johnny, who I have to say was great value and told me a lot of interesting and controversial stuff, kristian laight, james child, bheki moyo, robin deakin, jody meikle, Daniel thorpe, matt seawright, max maxwell and jason nesbitt. All honest blokes and great stories. Interviewing them all has been a real eye opener. I look at boxing completely differently now. Its being published by Pitch Publishing later this year, probably around september.
