Tricky fight for Khan, won't get much credit if he wins but a lot to lose. Collazo definitely has enough of a dig to get rid of Khan.

Credit to Amir for taking this fight but I think stylistically this fight could spell trouble for him. Just makes you think if he took the fight against Devon and beat him he could of been world champion!

Collazo by KO will be the biggest boxing bet I've ever had and am likely to ever have.

I'm going for Khan UD; he will be far too fast for Luis who couldn't catch up with the shadow of Mosely, Luis is 5 years older, has some hard fights on him and is not the destroyer that the Ortiz blowout suggests; I reckon Khan will also drop him hard. Khans straight right is one of the fastest in boxing and packs plenty of pop - it'll work a treat.

Khan will stop him, Sounds silly but I think hes made for khan and with him being a southpaw and the way he fights he will walk onto the shots. I know alot of people think southpaws are a nightmare but way Khan dealt with Judah really surprised me.

Dangerous fight for khan. Ur only as good as ur last.... Solid win for Collazo against Ortiz. Khan hasn't fought in a while since gown life an death with Diaz. Collazo is all wrong for khan. IMO khan gets stopped!

Indeed, but he's been poorly promoted. His promoter dangled him the Mayweather carrot, made him look a mug, and now is fighting for a fraction of what Maidana will be getting on the headline. A guy he beat! It's also a dangerous fight for Khan. Collazo can bang a bit, Devon would be a much better match-up for him. It's high-risk and virtually no reward.... unless Floyd rewards him with the September fight for outpointing international champion Collazo. I suppose it's the way Mayweather works, he exposed Canelo to his fanbase by sticking him on his undercard, same tactic for Khan? Either way it's another kick in the nuts for modern day boxing & promotion.

I think Khan will stop him with body shots although thinking about it I'm basing that on Khans style under Roach.
He's had another year of training under Virgil so who knows how he'll be fighting by the time May 3rd comes around.

Collazo is pretty tough can't see Khan stopping him if anyone's getting stopped it's Khan.
The Diaz fight showed Khans frailties again. I'm goin for Collazo.

I,m thinking just now that Collazo can KO Khan fairly early,Luis isnt a massive puncher but he is strong and a bona-fide WW,plus coming off a early blast out against Ortiz,so confidence in his own punching power will be high, and with Amir's flaws i reckon Collazo gonna come out like a whirlwind to take Khan out pronto,he'll be looking to get on the Mayweather bandwagon(God forbid)
I strangely think Amir would last longer with Floyd than he will with Collazo and i,m not really a Collazo fan and i rate Khan more than most on these forums but horses for courses and all that

Interesting fight, fair play to Khan for taking it as he wont get much credit if he wins and could get sparked in true Amir fashion, though it is on mayweathers card so a good solid win here could land him that fight.
Hard to evaluate fight, Khan under Roach would have handled Collazo but i dont like the way he has Been fighting under Hunter.

Has Broner been confirmed on the undercard or are they only rumours?

Collazo is a big welter, bad choice of opponent for Khan who has everything to lose in this one. I'll be sticking a lot on a Collazo victory.

He is fighting Robin Deakin from the UK, by way of the Maltese boxing commission, Golden boy wanted him to have an easier opponent, to get his confidence back.

Collazo seems rejuvenated while Khan looks increasingly diminished. Collazo is also far more polished and competent than anyone Khan has beaten, and 36 minutes is a long time for a man with a defective chin & low ring IQ to stay out of trouble.
I see Khan being clipped spectacularly at some point during the second half. In his postfight interview he'll still claim he can beat Mayweather.

If Broner does go in against Deakin he'll be looking at loss number two.
Deakins record is misleading.
On a more serious note, Khan has a serious whack to the body & that's Collazo's Achilles Heel, so to speak.

double post.
Tough guy who won't fold and can throw hard shots long into the night = bad news for Khan.

Come out like a whirlwind?? Have you ever seen Collazo box? The guy's a counter-puncher, which, actually makes him dangerous for Khan. But he's not going to come out all guns blazing, he is going to try to get Khan to walk into one. Against Ortiz it was Ortiz making the running, but he was wide open

Be interesting to see what channel this turns up on. I think Floyd v Maidana alone would have been guaranteed to be on BN, but with Khan in a decent fight on the u/c potentially setting up khan v Floyd for September, I have a feeling Sky will want to be all over this. They definitely have the capacity to outbid BN, it just comes down to whether they want to.

would like to hear malignaggis opinion on this one. cant believe khan is gettin props for fighting collazo...he's avoided the real dangerous guys as usual. i still think collazo will beat him based on what he used to be like.

Khan should of fought Guerrero IMO. It's a fight that he would of gotten more credit for the victory in aswell.
