Just noticed that the PPV channel Primetime has dropped off the SKY EPG. Apparently it was removed a few weeks ago. I'll assume it's days as a PPV provider have come to an end? I think the last PPV show they broadcast was Ricky Hattons comeback. Their website address now links directly to the sports section of the Channel 5 website.

Must admit, they will not be missed.

It still offered choice ! And I thought it was a pretty good set up.

you thought charging foolk 17.50 for there first ppv/15 quid for a picture that was no better than a pixalated stream ... for one fight was a good set up? you must be easily amused...

They only thing I ever ordered off them was the Ricky Hatton comeback. I didn't give Khan any money after he threw a sulk that his fights weren't going to be PPV.

Didn't they show some early Super Six fights as well? Particularly the ones featuring Carl Froch. Didn't watch the ones on their channel live, so like you won't miss it that much.

I'm sure the last fight they showed was McDonnell v Ceja. But yeah theuy showed the majority of the Super 6

I didn't say it was good value, by set up I ment a good panel

And I am easily amused

That channel was never going to survive once allegedly came in. Ridiculously expensive and poor quality picture .

They definitely showed the Froch vs Dirrell fight, I had major grief trying to get them to switch me on hours after I'd ordered, vaguely remember having a drunken rant at some poor girl on the customer service phoneline.

Good riddance to the channel, the less options for PPV for better imo.

I'm glad its off now but at the time it was a godsend when the other channels were lacking
