I agree with the dilks comment.i think he's only boxed once before at cruiserweight.

Tony's now fighting the former commonwealth light heavyweight champion Ovill Mckenzie, should be a great fight

Tony defends against Ovill McKenzie now.

What a joke this is. First we've (team Keane) been trying for this fight (along with others in top 5) long before Conquest won the commonwealth, then we've been trying every week to make the fight since he won it, bearing in mind Chris is also promoted by the same promoters,

the first reply was
" no chance will we be putting Tony in with Chris"

then the next reply was
" ok, u can have the fight, but you've got to put it on your own show & Tony wants at least £ xx, 000 " knowing we haven't got TV deal or £ xx, 000 it will cost all in all just to put the one fight on.

wtf ? But they then go and somehow get the C/W council to pass a fight between Conquest & a fat S/M who has only had 1 fight against a sausage at Cruiser, then that falls through & now they've ignored us again and chose a old, light-heavy instead who again shouldn't be given the shot seen has he got stopped at light-heavy in his last fight and lost 3 out of his last 6 (2 by Ko) at that lower weight.

We've lost a fight, we're not unbeatable, what's up with us ? All we're asking for is a chance and non of these fighters/promoters/managers/teams will except a fight with us, are we really that dangerous ? IMO I don't think so, can you all really call your lads/yourselves fighters ? Imo NO.

Boxing is becoming a joke, with the big promoters hyping up, bullshitting & hood winking the paying public into buying into these fights, where we know who the winner will be anyway, and keeping it all hush hush and the board & councils allowing it so they can keep the titles in house like pass the parcel.

I think fans would start to look at a lot of people involved in this sport and the sport itself in a different light if they knew what really went on, most of the time it's not the fighters, most will fight anyone, but the bullshitters & snakes in the ties on the other hand leave a lot to be desired.

At least the WWE wrestling keeps the fans guessing to see who's been told to win on the night at there shows.

I have a feeling McKenzie will knock Conquest out. He doesnt have the best chin IMO so this is a pretty dangerous matchup.

Mckenzie will stop Conquest inside 3 rounds, in his last fight he got caught, when looking like the winner against a former Cruiser weight world champion, who he had stopped in his previous fight, he was commonwealth champion at light heavy and won Prizefighter at Cruiserweight and was unlucky to be stopped by world title challenger Bellew, after putting Bellew down, he deserves his shot, unfortunately Keane got stopped in his breakthrough fight, so lost his chance, would he beat Conquest if given the opportunity? Yes he would, but so would some of the others, Conquest does not have good punch resistance, don't Knock Mckenzie, he was avoided for years, so he deserves the opportunities.

McKenzie is a 4 round fighter, if he can't knock you out inside that then he's fuked, he's flat footed and slow and can easily be out boxed & Conquest is developing into a good disciplined boxer, he will keep it long and either win a massive points decision or could even stop Ovill mid-late on which wouldn't suprise me.

McKenzie is a 4 round fighter that's why prizefighter suited him, Enzo & Bellew played into his hands early on with there come forward styles, Ovill can punch but after 4 rounds he can't, he'll be out boxed

And yes Chris got stopped, but he already stopped the ex/recent British champion (McPhilbin) in his previous fight before that and has won his 3 fights since, conquest was stopped in his big break through fight, had 1 fight back then got his shot again, so has Ovill (a good few times)

I agree with the sentiment but yeah I dont rate Conquest that much to be honest. He's an ok fighter but nothing special and his chin clearly is dodgy! Conquest also seems to be at his most vulnerable in the early rounds which like you say also happens to be McKenzie's forte.

McKenzie will swarm all over him from the first round, or he should and will stop him, Keane's connections should be happy with that because, it could set up an all midland clash, because if Conquest wins Keane may not get a chance, if Mckenzie does meet Keane, Keane cannot afford to be as reckless in that fight, it would be a good match up.

Beating dilks won't benefit or progress keanes career so it wud b a pointless fight imo. Keane is looking at the top names at cruiser and dilks is a blown up super middle so if keane stops him that all people will say. from wat I hear not many prepared to take the fight with keane which surprises me as he has shown he can b vulnerable although he does hav power himself. He must b frustrated at being over looked.

Listen bottom line is Dilks is a step back for us and we will get no credit for beating him, fact. Who has he beat other than in a prizefighter with a winning record ? And at lower weights ?

But what I will say is if there's something worth while at stake then we will come to Liverpool, Manchester or anywhere else for that matter to fight Dilks, no problem what so ever, Chris is a fighter just like Carl and doesn't care or fear fighting anyone.

I actually like Dilks and don't think he's fully fulfilled his potential, I was helping out has Cutman in the opposite corner on undercard of Haye Vs Ruiz has I was there working a couple fighters corners when he knocked Carl Drake flat out, very bad knockout tbh, granted Dilks had a massive size advantage over Drake who was clearly a over weight L/M that night, but never the less i know Dilks is a decent fighter, has he's proved, but at S/M not cruiser, and that's why he shouldn't of been given the shot at this weight when there's other lads above him in there natural weight class waiting for the chance.

And yes it's very frustrating, nearly 5 years now of broken promises, let downs & avoiding, then when we get our 1st and only chance it came at wrong time but we had to go for it only 20% ready and paid the price, but hopefully we will get a chance again soon! we keep winning we can't be avoided for ever! surely ?

And yes it's very frustrating, nearly 5 years now of broken promises, let downs & avoiding, then when we get our 1st and only chance it came at wrong time but we had to go for it only 20% ready and paid the price, but hopefully we will get a chance again soon! we keep winning we can't be avoided for ever! surely ?
