Hi guys, anyone know a good boxing gym in the Warrington area? Just moved here and want to get back into training/sparring.
Cheers in advance.

Just walk round that latch ford estate at kicking out time ,
In all seriousness I think there is a old fashion weights gym in that area so someone might be able to point you in that direction from there

If you are after an amateur gym then there are a few about.
Phoenix run by Damien Ridpath have a long list. They are based at Warrington Fire Station, jockey street.
Another one is Warrington abc , grange avenue, latchford.
Only other one I know is bridgefoot police, bridge foot business centre, old road.
Hope it helps

From your discription I instantly knew you were referring to this legendary documentary.

That's got to have been staged. He would have got banged out for slapping people in every gym I have ever been in.

Especially with a camera there, your average guy who would back down from someone in normal circumstances would defend himself more if he knew it was being filmed and gonna make him look like a skitter for the rest of his life.
Thousands of pounds of steroids trying to look hard and then takes a few bitch slaps on film. Lol

The guy is the video is meant to be one of the most notorious gangsters in Liverpool though and has been linked to various murders and gangland beatings so I'm not sure the guy he slapped would want to retaliate, staged or not.

Fair play, good one that
There is an important message for the kids - keep off the gear, and if you can't do that then at least keep of the wheelie bins.

They should be listed as a serious side effect.
