....Is going to be the next big boxing star from 'these' / Irish shores. I genuinely believe he will unify the division and will be huge. I see him stopping Quigg within 6 rounds and cannot see him losing to any current crop of fighters in his division.

He seems fearless and I hope Barry can guide him into some big fights and not get greedy himself and try and line his own pockets by playing safe for too long. He could be a little many pacquiou.

I've gotta say Framptons one of my favs,certainly from these shores,he's got star potential but he's in one of the toughest divisions out there,it hasn't helped with Santa Cruz crashing the SBW party but he has the talent and hunger to give anyone problems and with they supporters behind him there are some potetially big,big nights

A Carl Frampton show in Belfast is the highlight of the year for me,they crowds are up their with the best in the world(after Scottish one of course )

TBH I think Frampton probably has as good a chance as anyone to give Rigo problems but i cant see anyone beating Guillermo until his speed or dedication dwindles

I'm a massive fan of Leo Santa Cruz but he doesn't seem to have the same pop in his punches he has a bantam,understandably,still winning well though

I do think that Frampton would have the characteristics to cause Rigo some issues though. Against Molitor he showed that he could box very well on the front foot and as the aggressor and against Martinez he showed how well he could box on the backfoot. He seems a well rounded operator!

I'd give Frampton a shout against anyone bar Rigo. That man is just too good for his own good.

This is true, but it puts the 'Frampton will unify the division' claims in to perspective. Massive claim when there is someone like Rigo operating at the weight.

Santa Cruz is no walk in the park either!

I think the unify statement is absolute cobblers. When you have a division that has Santa Cruz, Rigondeau, Donaire, Mares et al you will have your work winning a title.

I like Frampton. He seems to be the sort of tough pressure fighter type guy that will do well against the average top 10 fighter but lose every time against the elite despite giving them a few problems. Kind of a Hatton type. Obviously no shame in that.

He really does. Frampton will over achieve if he comes close to reaching Hatton's level.

I think Frampton is a bit more savvy and defensively minded when he's going about his work in comparison to Hatton who was a bit too face first a lot of the time. When Hatton was at full pelt though he was a very hard fighter to beat as he didnt give you breathing space so your cardio had to really be on point. I think all fighters bar the likes of Mayweather would want Hatton's money though

Rigo is talented (at what he does) but a freak-sized fighter at the weight could boss him no problem. Donaire lost his mind and has always been mentally fragile. Just follow him on twitter and see the shite he comes out with how his wife is making his life miserable because he's not helped with the laundry.

Rigo switches off a lot in the second half - and most of all he is boring as f*ck, can't sell a ticket and could be brought over and placed in a very hostile environment.
