I assumed he would be on commentary through the night but he might not because Chambers is a stablemate of his thinking about it.

It was amusing at the press conference when Asif Vali said words to the effect of 'we're expecting a capacity crowd but we do have a few tickets left' and then went on to list the price ranges of the tickets available which basically equated to every ticket in the price range.

Saw somewhere earlier this week that it was set up for 5,000 and they hadn't quite sold out yet. I'd say 4,500 in total, definitely not the 7,000 suggested.

It's early to be fair, it might fill up later on. But I'll never forget the image at Hall's last fight of literally a 3/4 empty stadium and Rosenthal saying how amazing the atmosphere from the capacity crowd was.

If this carries on in this vein, Dawson is gonna get knocked out in quick fashion.

I think the bill as a whole is ok to be fair. This fight I expect to be fairly even. Hall v Ward is ok, but obviously not really worthy of the World title fight billing. I'm looking forward in a strange way to seeing Cornish (assuming he hasn't fought yet.)

If some of these opponents were brought over for Matchroom guys who were at the same stage in their careers you and expe would be out in force that's for sure.

This event feels like a glitzy occasion. All the Newcastle socialites akin to what you'd find in Monaco are out in force...
