You have Eddie Hearn and sky sports ramming it down are throat with all this the special one shit but fact of the matter is he is a European level fighter at best and deep down brooks know it as well, he got offered a fight for the ibf title against k9 bundredge and turned it down he then turned a fight back against Bradley and he also didn't want none of Devon Alexander, I just don't see a world level fighter, plus I have heard of boxing people I highly respect that he doesn't live the life he is a party animal and has gone up in weight as high as 14 stone, other top welterweight like , mayweather, Thurman, Madina ,Bradley, Marquez, pacquiao would all knock him out and hurt him and I would also pick the underrated Shawn porter and Robert Guerrero to out point him the so called special one

I think your spot on I'd favour all the names you've mentioned and Amir Khan to beat Kell

Billy - as a boxing man why do agree with a post that has little fact in it ?
Would you accuse Alexander of not wanting a piece of brook when HE pulled out injured ?
WTF is this K9 nonsense ?!?

Like most people I have been waiting for the last 3 years for Brook to step up and prove hes world class. Instead all I have seen are an endless stream of eliminators, final eliminators and "keep busy fights" all against sub par/poor opposition.

Billy knows a lot of things but isn't right about everything, Michael Bennt isn't right about a lot of things but knows somethings. I imagine he's put the thread on for a flare up though and there'll be more heat than light generated.

Don't agree with billy often but does anyone actually think Brook would beat mayweather, Thurman, Madina ,Bradley, Marquez, or pacquiao?? No chance. Carson Jones gave him hell. These guys are proven levels above.

Heard the same thing. However you cannot be to harsh on him turning that fight down as he would have had to move up to light middle. Turning down Bradley is another story tho, cannot defend that move.

Maybe he agrees with the opinions in there that Brook isn't world class and would be beaten by all the top welterweights, he certainly isn't the only one that holds that view.

Does he also agree that Brook didn't want to know Alexander ? That's what the first post said.

Genuinely, who cares what Billy Nelson thinks? This post will be put to bed one way or another in July.

You'll have to ask Billy that, all he said was that he'd favour the names mentioned and Amir Khan to beat Kell.

I have - and he hasnt replied.
Right now I see what you're getting at re K9.
Why would Brook have stepped up to LM all those years ago ?
While we're on that subject - this is the same K9 that shit his pants when Rhodes offered to step in.

I've not been following his news for a bit who are they looking at for July?

It seems people are finally catching up to what I've been saying for three years. :OhYes:

Can't argue with that. Paulie would be a very winnable fight for Brook, I don't know enough about Porter to properly have an opinion, but from what I've seen I don't think he's anything massively special.

Let's get real he's more likely to rematch Michael Jennings in his next fight, rather than fight Pauli or Porter.
