Yeah but it was a silly fight to take, going over to someone else home town and taking on a undefeated fighter. no matchmaker in their right mind would do that. it won't hurt him as he can't fight for the British title over here. not sure what sort of path he wants to take.

Get an intertatty, defend it a few times and you will have a world ranking . Not everyone's cup of tea, but prob the best way to progress his career

What's wrong with fighting an unbeaten fighter?? Too many boxers far too protected, so when they fight someone still breathing they come up more than short, might have lost the decision, (right or wrong) but will come out of it the better fighter , would you rather him fight a Bulgarian/ Hungarian bushwhacker?

What is the loss no shame against an unbeaten fighter it was clearly close whether he was robbed or not. People think this is bad management?! This is good management!

Iain has to fight away because he cant fight under a British licence. we would love work with sauerland but the bbb of c has interfered and has stopped us
its so hard trying to get fights with no promoter but like I said if he is going to make it he will cream always makes its way to the top

Sauerland are German based, so how can the BBBoC interfere in their affairs?

They air Price and Jumah via bn tv channel and put an abundance of shows that are just a quick plane ride away.

They would be a perfect fit for Weaver, who is a talented and entertaining fighter.

we had a licence in Ireland bbb of c revoked it we had a licence in Spain the bbb of c revoked it (quote and got emails to prove it ) if Iain weaver gets a Spanish licence the bbb of c will stop all Spanish boxer working in the uk and get them removed from the eu so the Spanish board said we could not have the licence after paying for more scans medicals plus the licence
tried Sauerland they work closely with bbb of c said could not give Iain a licence so now Iain has a Malta licence because they are the only one with the balls to stand up to the bbb of c

Surely the way to go is to become US based and hope a decent US Promoter picks him up and gives him a bit of backing?

A dodgy points decision loss at the start of his career certainly isn't the end of the world for the lad.

Had a watch there and wow what ability by weaver, His hands are lightning fast and he never takes a clean shot from the guy, you know its not gonna be your night when they say the first round was close, the guy landed 2 shots and one was a headbutt! chin up defeats like them mean nothing, in my opinion hell fight for a world title of sorts:)
