Here's my preview of this weekend's Saltire boxing show in Paisley with promoter Iain Wilson.
http://adamhendersonjournalism.wordpres ... ls-return/
Main bouts are: (updated)
Mike Towell v Rhys Pagan 10x3 Scottish light-middleweight title
Ronnie Clark v Michael Mooney super-featherweight/light-welterweight 6x3
Kris Carslaw v Dan Blackwell light-middleweight 6x3
Anyone going to this? Any thoughts on the matches? I was at their last show in January it was fantastic. Craig Kelly v Billy Campbell for the Scottish was a sensational fight - Kelly's out again on Sat.

Got changed to Riyaz over the weekend. McShane v Laskowski is a late call-in as well. Was supposed to be Michael McGurk fighting but he had to pull out. They made JP McGuinness v Laskowski - something happened to McGuinnes so it's McShane v Laskowski now. That's actually ended up being a really good match-up think it'll be one of the best fights of the night.

That's a shame seen harris a few time tho his record isn't great his always come to win. He cud hav give ronnie some real good rounds. As for riyaz imo 60-54 shut out for ronnie

Now seems Carswell is fighting Dan Blackwell (5-31) and Clark is fighting Michael Mooney (3-7). That's a great fight for Clark I'd say. Mooney's a LWW and stopped Eddie Doyle in Jan. He hasn't won since then but I was really impressed with him.

Shocking that in boxing a Superfeather has got to fight a light welter.. Ronnie basically has no choice here wants to be fighting so has to fight 2 weights above his weight. Positive I seen is Mooney is a far better fight that Ryas.. Surely it can't change again

Updated card in op and article is updated aswell. Shame Carruthers pulled out that looked like a good one with Carslaw. It'll be a pretty good night of boxing though a couple of tasty fights.

How many fights has Towell had?
Is this a bit of a risk putting him in a 10 rounder so early in his career? i thought he only had a couple of fights
